A short guide to language preferences, booking and the services used by this website.
Last updated 18 October 2026
At a glance
- You can read the pages without loading Calendly.
- Your NO/EN choice is remembered for up to one year.
- The calendar loads only after your choice.
Language preference
A manual NO/EN choice is stored in a functional first-party cookie for up to one year. The language feature does not store country codes or IP addresses.
Automatic first-visit choice
On the first visit to the root address, Cloudflare's country code is used transiently at the edge to choose Norwegian or English. STOAD's language function does not retain the signal or write a language cookie until you make a manual choice.
Calendly loads after your choice
The booking page does not contact Calendly until you choose to load the calendar or open the service directly. You select a time and enter the details for the conversation there. Calendly also processes technical data when you use its service. See the provider's privacy information below.
Choices in the page address
Colour and camera angle may appear in the page address and in shared links. Older links may also contain a conversation topic. This topic is not used or passed to the calendar.
Page delivery through Cloudflare
Cloudflare delivers page files, images and fonts to your browser. These network requests involve technical information, including your IP address. The language feature not retaining IP addresses does not mean that the provider's systems have no technical logs.
Email enquiries
When you write to post@stoad.no, the message is received in STOAD’s Zoho Mail inbox. It includes your sender address, message and any attachments you send. These details are used to respond to your enquiry.
Why we process information
We use contact and booking details to respond and follow up on the conversation. The basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Where you request steps before a contract you will personally enter into, Article 6(1)(b) applies. Statutory rights requests are handled under Article 6(1)(c). Technical delivery and security rely on our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website.
Providers and transfers
Cloudflare delivers the website, Calendly handles bookings, and Zoho Mail handles new email. Providers may use subprocessors and process information outside the EEA. Their processing and transfer terms describe safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Links are provided below. Contact post@stoad.no for more information and a copy of applicable safeguards.
Rights and contact
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable. You may also object to processing and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, which explains these rights and when they apply.
Retention and access
The following procedure applies to new enquiries from 18 October 2026. Deletion is carried out manually in the services; it is not automated by this website.
- Booking details are deleted no later than 90 days after a completed or cancelled meeting.
- Ordinary email enquiries are deleted no later than 12 months after the last relevant contact.
- Necessary information in active cases is retained until the case closes and for up to 12 months afterwards. Contractual records and legally required documentation follow the applicable record-keeping duty.
Routine internal access is limited to Jesper Uhre Hammersvik. Service providers may have necessary technical access under their service terms. Enquiry details are not used for newsletters without a separate opt-in.
